Mrs. Adrian began her career in Kansas, moved to Georgia, and finally to Florida. As DON for a Care and Rehab center in Georgia, she cleared a complaint survey within 30 days of employment.​
She continued to demonstrate her commitment to quality by ensuring that annual surveys under her watch resulted in the fewest complaints for the center in 5 years.

In Florida, Mrs. Adrian developed long-term care and assisted living policies and procedures for Oak Hammock at the University of Florida in Gainesville, a highly regarded facility in the area. She helped the facility by implementing the following:

Developing a self-administration medication program

Ensuring that the facility had no complaint surveys in 5 ½ years; and

Providing an environment that created 18 consecutive months of zero staff turnover
